Layne Norton has a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, BS in Biochemistry, was featured in Who’s Who in Science and Engineering 2010, is a IFPA and NGA Natural Pro Bodybuilder, 2010 IFPA Pro International Men’s Heavyweight Champion, and Professional Raw Powerlifter who holds world records for his weight class.
Alan Aragon

Alan Aragon has over 18 years of success in the fitness field. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Nutrition with top honors. Alan is a continuing education provider for the Commission on Dietetic Registration, National Academy of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, and National Strength & Conditioning Association. Alan recently lectured to clinicians at the FDA and the annual conference of the Los Angeles Dietetic Association. He maintains a private practice designing programs for recreational, Olympic, and professional athletes, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings, and Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Alan is a contributing editor to major fitness magazines worldwide.
Lyle McDonald
Lyle McDonald became interested in the science of exercise and nutrition in high school through his involvement in martial arts, triathlon, gymnastics and weight training. This led him to pursue a bachelor’s of science degree in Kinesiology from the University of California at Los Angeles. The curriculum included an overwhelming amount of basic human physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, endocrinology as well as coursework in exercise physiology, biomechanics and nutrition.
After graduation in 1993, he got involved in personal training in a variety of settings. From this time until the present is when he really learned about some of the realities about training, nutrition etc. Since, Lyle has written 8 different well-received books based around dieting, human nutrition, and related approaches therein. He also has a website.
Martin Berkhan
Martin Berkhan works as a nutritional consultant, magazine writer and personal trainer. He is working on a book, scheduled to be released in late 2011 or early 2012, which details his unique approach to dieting (intermittent fasting).
